It was brilliant to take part in the Class to 5K programme. My children are reasonably active, but encouraging them to take part in a running event involving the whole school made them feel like they were a part of something really special. As a parent, I ran the final fun run with them, and it was fantastic to see the children’s enthusiasm and determination to reach the finish. It was a wonderful experience to share together as a family. I can’t recommend the programme highly enough. It’s a fantastic way to encourage healthy habits while bringing families and the wider community together.

Nicky Moores (and family)

As a mum of kids with different interests and abilities it was great to do this together. We didn’t manage as much of the training as I would have liked to but knowing the kids were practicing in school was great. My 6-year-old wouldn’t run without moaning about sore feet or stomach even though he is capable. Doing this with friends he ran off and really enjoyed himself. I enjoyed supporting the school with a program I believe that will enhance the enrichment of our children and our family. Thanks to Coach Jules for bringing something fun to the school and instilling a healthy habit to our children.

A lovely idea to get children and their adults moving and enjoying exercise. Steady progress and such a fun atmosphere running in front of family and friends. We loved our medals and everyone had so much fun participating and watching. Thank you so much

My son 9, my daughter 6 and myself 47, took part in the class to 2km/5km run organised by Coach Jules… It was a great turnout and so much fun with lots of friends and family! From start to finish it was a very organised, Informative and extremely fun and engaging activity to do as a family and school. The fact that we could do it together made it so much more memorable and enjoyable and we were all rewarded at the end with a medal!
My son loves running and said,’I can’t wait to take part in the 5km run’
My daughter said,’ I loved doing it with you, mummy!’
And for myself, Well, I’m not a runner, but I achieved it and my children were proud and that’s all that I need!

We had such a fantastic experience taking part in the Class to 5K programme. It was a fun and supportive way to get active together, and we loved having a shared goal to work towards each week. The runs were enjoyable, motivating, and suitable for all of us regardless of our starting fitness levels, with some fun challenges which were great for the kids! The final fun run was a brilliant way to celebrate everything we’d achieved. It was a really enjoyable day with a great atmosphere, and crossing the finish line made us all feel incredibly proud. We’d definitely recommend Class to 5K to any family looking for a fun way to get fitter, spend quality time together, and build confidence.
